Transforming Cities brings together people who are passionate about improving places. We provide ‘hands-on’ training to equip people in creating an authentic sense of place. We work in teams of talented, trusted individuals.

Nick Corbett is the director of Transforming Cities and his experience includes:

  • Author of several books including Revival in the Square published by the Royal Institute of British Architects
  • A director at Urban Living, the housing renewal partnership set up by the Government and Birmingham and Sandwell Councils
  • A board member for Aston Pride, NDC
  • A board member for Birmingham Chapter of the Urban Land Institute
  • Principal urban designer for the urban regeneration company Derby Cityscape Ltd
  • Principal urban designer for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea
  • Co-founder and Vice Chair of LAUD – later Urban Design London
  • A Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute
  • An Academician with the Academy of Urbanism
  • Town Planning degrees from Manchester University
  • MA in urban design from Oxford Brookes University
